Hurricanes and God

As one who does not think Hurricanes are caused by God, I am still tempted to consider the irony of this weeks twin features.  While the Republicans, who have done everything humanly possible to make me believe they are agents of the devil, prepare to host a Nomination Convention, Mother Nature hurls three Hurricanes this way.

Surely Old Testament Bible Thumpers must be about to jump ship as Global Climate Change churns more energy against the shores of America's Red States.

I will say that what little I saw of today's Convention, I am thankful that the hot air has been reduced by the Christian minded  consideration of the poor souls dealing with the Gustav's Furry.
